Police are asking for information after a 40-year-old man died in a collision between a motorcycle and a caravan in Berkeley.
The crash happened yesterday (June 17) around 2.30pm at the B4066 junction with Saniger Lane, towards Sharpness Docks. A Honda motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer caravan collided and the motorcyclist died sadly.
The man, who was from the area, was seriously injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. His relatives and the coroner have been informed.

For several hours the roads were cut off while the emergency services were at the scene. There were closures between the Severn Road and Bridge Road roundabout, Station Road and the B4066 roundabout, as well as between Saniger Lane and the Oldminster Road junction.
The collision was investigated and last night the cuts were removed. A Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesman said: “The inquiries are ongoing and anyone who has witnessed the incident or who has board camera footage is asked to contact police.”
