Darlington Accident A167: Floral Tributes to Natalie Marshall

Flowers, balloons, pictures and other tributes have been left at the scene of the crash that killed a 25-year-old woman.

Natalie Marshall died after the car she was driving veered off the road and collided with a tree near Darlington on Friday.

Distressed friends and family have paid tribute to the young woman at the scene of the accident on the A167.

His family paid tribute to a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, who would “light up the room”.

Natalie Marshall, 25, died in an accident near Darlington on Friday

The emotional tributes left on stage described Natalie as the “life and soul of the party.”

Another said, “Our hearts are torn to pieces.”

And another said, “You can light up any room you enter.”

Many fans have also sent condolences to Natalie’s friends and family.

Police were called around 3:15 a.m. Friday after a Mercedes C-Class vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree near Coatham Munderville, just outside Darlington.

Natalie was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

In a tribute posted today, her family said: “Natalie was a daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend. We can’t put into words how we all feel about the loss of the greatest and strongest personality we’ve ever known.

“Natalie lit up the room as soon as she came in, she was the most hardworking and selfless young woman.

“We are really heartbroken by this tragedy. I am sure it has a place in the hearts of many people.”

A man in his twenties, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough with serious injuries.

It stays there for further treatment.

Collision investigators would like to speak with anyone who has witnessed the incident or who may have images from the vehicle’s dashboard shortly before the collision.

Anyone who can help is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, citing incident number 57 on 17 June.
