With a broken heart, we will love and miss Darren forever. He was born in Castlegar, BC, and has lived in many parts of Canada. She is survived by her mother and father, Shelagh and Tim Yanni, her brother Shawn Yanni (Valérie Legrand), her sister Heather Yanni, and her entire extended family, including her grandparents, Patricia and Ralph Yanni of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, and Herb Salter and Wendy Austen of Kingston, ON, and their many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Darren is predeceased by his grandmother Maureen Salter of Kingston, ON, and his uncles Christopher and Darcy Yanni of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Darren was so passionate about his interests, funny, adventurous, dedicated, hardworking, kind, so incredibly smart and would do anything to help anyone. He had many successes, made friends wherever he went, and had many adventures during his short life. For this we are grateful, as well as for all those who have loved him along the way. We will always have all the happy memories of Darren in our hearts. There will be no public service, but we ask that his friends honor Darren by enjoying and living his life to the fullest.
