Clive Palmer’s well-funded election campaign has given her a breather parliamentary position with Ralph Babet claiming the last seat in the Senate for Victoria.
Babet, a real estate agent, was the number one candidate for the Senate of the United Australia Party in the state.

The Australian Electoral Commission confirmed Victoria’s final count in the Senate on Monday morning.
The top five were won by women: Liberal Sarah Henderson, Labor Linda White and Jana Stewart, Bridget McKenzie of the Nationals and Lidia Thorpe of the Greens.

Babet clashed with Greg Mirabella of the Liberal Party for sixth and last place in the state.
It is the only UAP election victory despite the mining tycoon spending $ 100 million during the federal election.
NSW Senate results were also confirmed Monday morning.
Successful senators in this state were former Secretary of State Marise Payne, Labor Deborah O’Neill, Ross Puppy of the Nationals, Deputy Minister of Labor for Climate Change and Energy Jenny McAllister, David Shoebridge of the Greens and the liberal Jim Molan.
