The great Brendan Fevola of the AFL has warned the assaulted star Jordan De Goey that he is in his last chance, and pointed out that a similar misbehavior cost him his own career.
De Goey has received a $ 25,000 suspended fine from Collingwood after a video of the 26-year-old pulling down a woman during a mid-season trip to Bali appeared.
It is the latest in a series of off-field dramas for the Magpies star, who was arrested in New York last year after an incident at a nightclub. He was also caught driving drunk and in 2017 broke his hand after an incident at a bar.

Speaking to Fifi, Fev & Nick on Fox FM, Fevola drew parallels with his own career.
“I was in a similar situation when I was playing football, I really didn’t have people around me, I was just a fool,” he said.
“I thought I was better than anything else and it cost me my career. I finished at 29 years old.
“He is 26 years old, he probably has eight years of football left, at most.
“You have to prepare your life so you can party whenever you want at 32. You have the rest of your life to live.”

Fevola left the game in early 2011 after being fired by the Brisbane Lions after being arrested on charges of public nuisance and obstruction by police.
Despite being a two-time Coleman medalist, Fevola explained that his successes on the field were overshadowed by his off-field scandals, a fate that also seems likely for De Goey.
“When I left football I was not respected,” Fevola said.
“I played great football (but) my football career has never been talked to any other striker because of my off-field crossings, and that’s my fault. I have to deal with it. I had no respect, everyone thought he was a brawler.
“It simply came to our notice then.
“He has no more chances, all his strikes are gone, if he stuffs again, that’s it.”
Magpies confirm rumors of De Goey’s contract
Fevola said the controversial Magpies star should stay out of the spotlight for the rest of his career.
“You’re lucky to play football and make money that people would dream of winning. You’re going to play football for eight years, you’re not going anywhere, and if you’re going somewhere, don’t tell anyone,” he said.
“Don’t go to Bali’s shit, what’s wrong with you?
“You go to Bali, everyone knows you’re going there, it doesn’t matter if you do things or not. He’ll be back, he’ll be sick.”
“You can win millions of dollars by playing a game you like, if you throw your head away,” Fevola added.

“I’d love to sit down and say, ‘Dude, you can have it all.’
“And I did, I was 29, I went into rehab, I didn’t have a penny in my name, because I had blown it all up. I had gone crazy. This guy will have yet another chance, but it will be his last chance. . “
Collingwood has suspended De Goey’s contract negotiations until the end of the season.
