The Manitoba RCMP is investigating after a stabbing at the Pas Correctional Center on Wednesday evening.
Mounties said around 7:10 p.m., officers were called to jail. A 34-year-old man, incarcerated in the correctional facility, had been stabbed several times and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The RCMP, Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services are investigating the stabbing.
