The son makes a plea to Liverpool FC fans when the father “disappears” in Paris

A son has issued a plea to LFC fans while his father is missing in Paris.

James Hargreaves, 31, arrived in Paris on Thursday around 9 a.m. with his 66-year-old father, who bears the same name but is named Jimmy. They have traveled to the French capital for the Champions League final where Liverpool will play Real Madrid on Saturday.

The 31-year-old Norris Green man said he last saw his father near the Lush Bar on Rue des Dames at around 1.40am today. James said his father disappeared between the site and the Novotol Suited Paris Montreuil Vincennes hotel, where they were staying.

James said his father has no cell phone and “has no idea where we’re staying.” The 31-year-old said he had spoken to Paris police and checked nearby bars.

Posting on Twitter, he wrote: “Any red in Paris, my father has disappeared. We are staying at the Novotol Montreuil Vincennes, I can’t find it. No help. Send us a health message.”

James asks LFC fans to pay attention to his father and get in touch with him if anyone sees him. He told ECHO: “Just to be careful, he’s a guy and he’ll talk to anyone, his name is Jimmy.”

Jimmy is 66 years old, has gray hair, a beard and is wearing a green coat and a red T-shirt. Since he shared his tweet asking people to help him find his father, James has received hundreds of messages of support.

The 66-year-old man was last seen about nine hours ago. If anyone sees Jimmy, please contact @ScouseRepublic. For the latest news and breaking news, visit liverpoolecho.co.uk/news
