WA Health reports a total of 5,351 new cases at 6pm last night. There are currently 28,603 active cases in Western Australia.
At 6pm last night, there were 260 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 12 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes eight new deaths, dating back to May 24, which were reported yesterday to WA Health.
This includes two men in their 90s; two men in their 80s and four women in their 80s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the Department will not provide further information on such cases.

- These data are based on the residential zip code of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.
- The remaining reported daily cases (85) do not yet have an assigned region. The data will continue to be reconfigured as this information is verified.
Of the 5,351 cases, 1,866 were confirmed by the PCR test, the remaining 3,485 were rapid self-reported positive antigen tests.
A total of 10,417 PCR tests were performed yesterday in public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 871,777 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
