A horrific head-on collision involving two transport trucks forced the closure of the Trans Canada Highway in central Newfoundland last night.
The collision caused a large fire and forced traffic to be diverted around the scene through Bishop’s Falls as crews attended the scene. The RCMP confirms that traffic is still being diverted by the community this morning while officers continue to process the site.
There is no immediate word on injury.
Police are urging witnesses to the crash to contact them.
