No Man’s Sky, Hello Games’ ambitious space epic, has finally reached a release date for Switch. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long either, as it will arrive both physically and digitally on October 7, 2022.
Originally debuted on the PS4 in 2016, the game had a decidedly varied reception thanks to a number of shortcomings and some bold promises from the developer that could not be fulfilled. In later years, however, its overall position has received a major boost thanks to multiple expansions and improvements.
It looks like these expansions will also reach the Switch version, including Foundation, Pathfinder, Companions and more. This is great news, of course, although it is a fact that the game will not be able to play in VR, as the Switch does not have these capabilities outside the VR Lab quite limited. Oh well.
Check out the box art, though!
