Police have found a 70-year-old man alive who went missing earlier this week after his car was found abandoned in a bush near Newman.
Police had begun a massive search for Michael Gill traveling to Perth from South Hedland on Tuesday.
Mr. Gill was said to be driving a 2010 gray model Toyota Kluger, which was later found abandoned in a thicket about 110 miles south of Newman City.
Police had also said they believed Mr Gill may have been walking along the Great Northern Highway near the Kumarina Road home on Friday morning.

An important search began on Tuesday to find him near where his car was found. Police, SES and air assets, including an AMSA aircraft, collaborated in the search.
But Wednesday night police announced they had found the 70-year-old man.
“At around 11.55pm last night, police officers located Mr Gill. He received first aid by locating officers before he was taken to Newman Hospital for a medical check-up,” the police in a statement.
At this stage it is not clear where exactly he was found.
