The Channel 7 star will be off our screens for three weeks while he and his extended family celebrate in the UK.

“Georgie is getting married, the last of the four, so it’s going to be okay,” he said at the end of the show.

Kochie said she would share a house with her daughter’s future in-laws, whom she has not yet met, for a week before Georgie married her German partner, Alex.

“We all shared a house with him and his parents before the wedding and we never met,” the 66-year-old explained.

“He’ll be Father Of The Bride or Nightmare On Elm Street,” he added laughing.

“It’s going to be a little fun.”

Kochie and his wife Libby have four adult children and eight grandchildren.

The wedding comes after the breakfast TV presenter spoke of his UK-based daughter’s engagement when he shared the happy news last year.

Kochie turned to social media in September to say he can’t wait to welcome Alex to his growing family.
