A California judge has approved a request from the adult daughter of Tesla CEO Elon Musk to change her name and gender to her birth certificate.

Vivian Jenna Wilson filed the petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court the day after she turned 18 in April.

He enumerated gender identity and an apparent antipathy for his father, as a reason for the change.

“I no longer live or want to be related to my biological father in any way or form,” he wrote in the petition.

Judge Rafael Ongkeko approved the petition Wednesday in Santa Monica court after no one opposed the change. A hearing that was scheduled for Friday was canceled. The court order said a new birth certificate would be issued reflecting the change.

Vivian will now legally use her mother’s last name, Canadian author Justine Wilson, who was married to Musk between 2000 and 2008.

The couple had five children, the eldest of whom died when he was young. Vivian has a twin brother.

Musk has been married three times, including twice to “Westworld” actress Talulah Riley. He has two young children with singer Grimes.

On Father’s Day, Musk tweeted, “I love all my kids so much.”

Musk, 50, who is currently trying to buy Twitter for $ 44 billion, has previously said he supports transgender people, although he was criticized for rejecting the use of different pronouns.

“Well I absolutely support trans, but all of these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare,” he tweeted in December 2020.

In July 2020, he tweeted “Pronouns hurt.”

The Associated Press tried to contact Vivian Jenna Wilson to comment on her, but the phone calls were not answered and the text messages were not returned immediately.
