The 2022 NBA Draft is here, and in time for the first time since 2019! – and despite many rumors that they are exchanged, the San Antonio Spurs chose in their lottery spot the 9th overall. With their first pick in the top 10 since Tim Duncan in 1997, the Spurs selected the 6’9 ′ ′ forward and sixth man of the year as Big 12 Jeremy Sochan of Baylor University.
We’ll have a lot more on what this selection means for the Spurs as the night progresses, as well as coverage of possibly three more draft picks from the Spurs, so stay tuned. In the meantime, welcome to the Spurs, Jeremy!
