Hull police cordon on Beverley Road after “a man seen covered in blood” – updates

Police laid a cordon outside the shops on Beverley Road, Hull, on Saturday evening following reports of a serious incident.

A stretch of sidewalk outside the Hull Pets & Gardens store, one of a group of stores south of the Cave Street junction, was closed. CSI agents were investigating the site.

Other officers could be seen questioning people at local shops. The road remained open in both directions.

He followed reports on Hull Live of a strong police presence on Beverley Road around 6 p.m. this evening. A witness told Hull Live that as he passed by, he saw a man covered in blood assisted by police. However, these reports are not confirmed at this time.

At 6.40pm, there was a police car and a van at the scene, as well as half a dozen officers, some patrolling the scene and others asking questions in the shops.
