Reports state that the fate of North Melbourne coach David Noble has already been decided with suggestions that there is much more to the club’s review.
Coach David Noble’s time at the Kangaroos is a time borrowed with reports that his job is the focus of the club’s review.
North Melbourne has begun a review of the football department as the club goes into even more crisis during a season of misery for its fans.

The club has only one win this season and rumors surround a fracture in the locker room, while there is also mystery about the future of No. 1 draft pick Jason Horne-Francis.
Pressure is mounting on Noble, as the club only won five games in 36 games during his tenure.
Monday night’s reports stated that Noble’s fate had already been decided.
Geoff Walsh, a longtime AFL manager, has been hired to review the club’s operations, the same one responsible for the review that led Carlton to sack David Teague in 2021.
Veteran reporter Caroline Wilson suggested Monday night that the review is in fact a “successful job” at Noble.
“I don’t think David Noble will survive the season,” Wilson told Channel 9 Footy Classified.
“I don’t think I knew Geoff Walsh would come in until shortly before (the decision was made).
“They don’t call it a review, but it’s a complete review. It’s a good job and it’s not just aimed at the coach, of course.”
Wilson said Walsh will only be involved with the club part-time for a month.
He Herald Sun’s Jon Ralph told Fox Footy’s On the couch On Monday night, Walsh’s review could be the “evidence” North needed to “advance your coach.”
“It’s been described as a top-down review of the football department,” Ralph said On the couch.
“The expectation is clearly that David Noble is very unlikely to survive.
“There are a lot of problems there, but they are basically hidden from view: game plan, morale, development.
“Carlton will tell you that they took Geoff Walsh last year for his review and anyone who knows him knows that the decision was made long before David Teague was eliminated. Probably something similar here.”
Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes recently said he was worried about kangaroos, especially the future of Horne-Francis.
“I don’t care about him. I’m worried about the North,” Cornes told SEN. “I worry about him pulling out the pin and saying ‘I’ve had enough.’
“I’m not worried about his long-term future in the game or who he will be.
“I’m more concerned about North Melbourne being so frustrated with the state of the club that it says, ‘I want to go to Adelaide or Port Adelaide.’
