A bank employee has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed several times Monday, according to Toronto police.
Police say an attempted robbery took place at approximately 12:57 p.m. on a bank in the Chinatown area, near Spadina Avenue and West Dundas Street.
Police say a man armed with a knife jumped off the counter before stabbing an employee several times.
The worker was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but which did not endanger his life, police said.
Police are looking for the suspect who fled the scene.
