US stocks rose higher on Wednesday afternoon as investors digested central bank comments on a panel in Europe and looked at another round of quarterly earnings reports.
The S&P 500 was up 0.2%, after closing 2% on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.6% while the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.1%.
