Holmes and Santos clashed with many of their co-stars during the 2022 season after triggering a romance as they paired up with other people on the show.
They continued with a date after filming ended, and just a week ago, Holmes shared a tribute to his girlfriend next to a photo of them walking their dog.
“A lot has happened with this girl. It takes something really special to get over what has come out of a reality show for us. It just made us stronger!” He wrote.
Earlier this year, the personal trainer revealed that he had “abused” steroids for nearly eight years, until he signed up for MAFS in 2021.
Holmes credited Santos with helping him in his recovery.
“It was an addiction I didn’t want to admit, but the reality is I never got out of it in that 7-8 year period,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I can look back and realize how it affected my life. There are side effects that I’m still dealing with after years of fucking my hormones.
“Anyone who knows me well knows that I am very obsessed with the things I choose to focus on. I have this obsession with being the best I can be. “
