Police and ambulance crews were called Friday night for an incident in Northampton city center.
A large police presence, which included about six police cars and a riot police van, was in the Swan Street and St John’s Street area of the city. The road was also cut between the multi-storey car park at St John’s and the University of Northampton residences.
An ambulance was also at the scene.

The tape was removed around 10:20 p.m.
Police have not confirmed any details about the nature of the incident, but have responded on social media to someone who reported seeing a big fight in the area.
