Stuart Broad has just released the most expensive in the history of the test

Stuart Broad made the most expensive ticket in the history of Test cricket on Saturday (AEST), before England threw to India by 416 on Day 2 at Edgbaston.

Broad started their final with India sitting 377-9 after 83 overs.

By the time six legal deliveries had been made, India had amassed another 35 rolls to reach 411-9.

Starting its final with figures of 1-54, Broad’s horror show began with a fielding error that saw Jasprit Bumrah deviate with a four.

Things only got worse from there.

The next ball was a wide one, above Bumrah’s head, which was run to another limit.

Broad returned, but this time Bumrah made a hook over the head of a thin leg for six. To make matters worse, it was a no-dance.

The fourth ball, but the second legal delivery, was a full throw, thrown at half-point for four, bouncing mercilessly in front of the rope, before Broad found the inner edge of Bumrah moments later, which of course saw the ball went away for another four.

Four more followed when Bumrah fell on himself swinging Broad to the side of the leg, only to improve the next ball with six more on the thin leg.

After picking up 28 tidy tracks on Broad itself, Bumrah did what anyone would do; the Indian star grabbing a tight single with the final ball over the over to keep the goal.

By the time he finished, eight balls had been thrown, with 35 runs scored and a world record broken.

“An absolute carnage of that Stuart Broad,” Nasser Hussain said in a comment.
