WABetaInfo it’s here with another look at what appears to be a future version of WhatsApp with extended privacy functionality. A future feature for WhatsApp on iOS will allow users to hide the recent activity status and even the online status of certain or all users.
The messaging app allows you to hide your “last visit status” from users outside of your contact list, for example. A standalone option called “Like last seen” applies the same logic to your online status.
The developer team is also working on an edit button for messages and reacting to messages in a chat. In fact, some of the features are already being implemented in public beta testers. However, we do not know when they will be available to all users.
