Heavy storms can occur today that could produce strong wind gusts, heavy hail and heavy rains in parts of New Brunswick.
Environment Canada issued an alert on Saturday.
Conditions that could cause bad weather are expected to last until 8pm in most regions of the province.
St. Stephen and the Fredericton area can expect between 15 and 30 millimeters of rain.
The regions surrounding Point Lepreau, Saint John, Moncton and Point Escuminac could also receive between 15 and 30 millimeters of rain.

Fog conditions will develop overnight in regions close to St. Stephen, Fredericton, Point Lepreau, Saint John, Moncton and Point Escuminac.
The alert is valid for the following communities:
- Campbellton and Restigouche County.
- Fredericton and South York County.
- Grand Falls and Victoria County.
- Grand Lake and Queens County.
- Mount Carleton – Renous Road.
- Oromocto and Sunbury County.
- St. Stephen and northern Charlotte County.
- Stanley – Doaktown – Blackville Area.
- Woodstock and Carleton County.
There is also a possibility of storms on Sunday.
