GeForce RTX 4090 with 2520 MHz boost clock
Kopite7kimi has an update to the RTX 4090 specifications.
According to the filter, it now looks like NVIDIA RTX 4090 has a base and a magnifying clock. It is revealed that RTX 4090 has a base of 2235 MHz and an increase of 2520 MHz with an actual clock of 2750 MHz (like the game clock).
These numbers are impressive once compared to the existing RTX 3090 SKU. Only the base clock increases by 60% (compared to 1395 MHz) and the rise clock is 49% higher (compared to 1695 MHz). In fact, it’s a notable update to the Ampere series.

Given that RTX 4090 has a core spec configuration of 16384 CUDA, this means that with this “real” clock speed of 2750 MHz, the card’s computing performance could reach 90 TFLOPS in precision workload unique. This is almost twice as much as RTX 3090 not Ti.
Kopite also reiterates the specifications previously shared in the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 SKUs. Each SKU must have a different GPU, either AD103 (RTX 4080) or AD104 (RTX 4070). It looks like the RTX 4080 will have a 256-bit memory bus and 16GB of GDDR6X memory at the same speed as the RTX 4090. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 which supposedly has 7168 CUDA cores according to the latest rumors, would have a 160-bit broadband memory and 10GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 memory.
NVIDIA is now expected to unveil its RTX 40 series around September or October this year. Initially, only these three models will be launched with a mid-range RTX 4060 that will arrive next year around CES 2023.
