A 30-year-old woman has died in a Swansea tanning salon, police have confirmed. Officers were called to the Lextan tanning studio on Carmarthen Road in the city’s Fforestfach area on Saturday, May 28 by paramedics who had sadly found a woman’s body in the business.
Detective Inspector Gareth Jones of the South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police were called at around 16:05 on Saturday 28 May by the Welsh Ambulance Service. following reports that a woman’s body had been found in a commercial premises on Carmarthen Road, Fforestfach.
“Emergency services attended to and found the body of a woman in her 30s. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. a forensic record. “
A Lextan spokesman confirmed that the woman who died in the tanning salon was a client and said she was being offered advice to staff after the tragedy.
“Unfortunately, we can confirm that a customer died while he was in our Fforestfach show on Saturday, May 28,” the spokesman said. “We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and have also offered advice to any affected personnel. We are cooperating with the investigation into this case by the South Wales Police.”
