A gang jailed after treating and exploiting hundreds of women across London

Members of a modern slave gang have been jailed for trafficking and exploitation of hundreds of women across London.

The husband and wife team of Sebastian Zimoch, 48, and Anna Zimoch, 46, along with Grzegorz Borowka, 44, Micheal Lozinski, 52, and Rafal Lacki, 41, were sentenced to Isleworth Crown Court in west London.

The five had been convicted in the same court in March of conspiracy to organize or facilitate trafficking in human beings and conspiracy to control for-profit prostitution between January 1, 2015, and February 9 last year. after a 10-week trial.

Lozinski Sol was also convicted of a second felony charge of controlling for-profit prostitution between January 1, 2017 and February 9 last year, in connection with a massage business called Massage Bunnies.

The gang of traffickers was led by Sebastian Zimoch, with his wife Anna leading it during a period when he was absent.

Sebastian Zimoch was sentenced to eight years in prison, Micheal Lozinski was sentenced to seven years, Grzegorz Borowka was sentenced to three years and nine months, Rafal Lacki was sentenced to 18 months (time served) and Anna Zimoch was suspended for two years. and ordered him to do 150 hours of unpaid work.

In the Metropolitan Police investigation, specialized agents identified more than 300 potential victims of trafficking, of whom 134 women were safeguarded by the team.

During the trial, the court learned how Lozinsky ran five brothels in west London and Zimoch two in the Docklands and north-west London.

They started running brothels in 2015, with husband and wife team Sebastian and Anna Zimoch at the helm of the gang.

They recruited women and employed a number of drivers and a receptionist, who made a significant economic profit.

Lozinsky also later opened his own brothel.

In 2020, Lozinski and Zimoch stopped working together.

Sebastian and Anna Zimoch ran an escort website called Golden Kiss, advertising girls for sex work.

He, along with his drivers, took the women to the customers, while Borowka accompanied Zimoch during these calls.

All five were arrested in February 2021.

Prosecutor Gareth Munday told the court that the women were at risk of serious physical and psychological harm in these appeals.

He said: “They were left at the mercy of men who could have done anything to these women.”

The woman said she would not have sex with clients

One of the victims, who spoke on Sky News on condition of anonymity, said she left her home in Poland to go to the UK at the age of 18, but was left homeless after two days.

She said, “I don’t know what to do. All I know is finding a place to sleep and a job. I didn’t think about prostitution. I found ads on a website about jobs where you can sleep.”

The woman was told she had a job in Gravesend, Kent, where she would have to go out with people in exchange for money and accommodation.

He was told that the job would not involve sex, but when he got to the address, he was told that he should have sex with clients.

She said: “I was scared because I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. I was still 18, when he said I have clients in five minutes, everything was stuck. he was very frightening to me. “

The woman said she was working in two different brothels for two years.

Acting Detective Inspector Esther Richardson of the Central Crime Specialist said: “I’m glad I was able to find out the true scale of this illegal operation.

“My team worked tirelessly to identify and safeguard hundreds of other women across London who were being exploited by this organized criminal group.”
