WASHINGTON – Rocket company Astra Space’s mission to send NASA’s meteorological monitoring satellites into orbit failed Sunday after a second-stage booster engine shut down in space. according to the live broadcast of the company’s mission.

The crash came about 10 minutes after a successful launch of the Astra 3.3 rocket from a launch pad at the Cape Canaveral space force station in Florida.
