Baby P’s evil mother rejected a new identity and “said she dyed her hair and lost weight.”

Evil mother Tracey Connelly has been denied a new identity when she is released from prison, with reports that she has been told to “lose weight” and have her hair done.

Baby P’s mother, whose weight is said to have shot up to nearly 20 stones, has also been reported to be released without police protection, the Daily Star reports.

A prison source said: “Tracey was furious when she heard the news. It is very strange to give the prisoners a new identity. The bar is extremely high and she did not cross that threshold.

“Tracey did not qualify in 2013 and was told that nothing had changed.

“Prison officers managing her release have told her that the best thing she could do to avoid attention would be to change her appearance by losing weight drastically and dyeing her hair.

“But she’s still a pretty big woman, so she’s not likely to lose much weight in the next few weeks.”

The Parole Board recently ruled that it was not a danger to the public, and despite attempts by Justice Secretary Dominic Raab to block her release, she will soon be released from HMP Low Newton, Durham County, after be closed in 2009 to cause or allow the death of her son Peter, a tragedy that shook the country.

His then-partner Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen were also convicted on the charge.

After it was announced that she was to be released, Raab called for a “fundamental review” of the Parole Board. He described Connelly as “pure evil.”

Raab said: “The decision to release her demonstrates why the parole board needs a fundamental overhaul, including ministerial scrutiny for the most serious offenders, to serve and protect the public.”

She is expected to be sent to a hostel that houses high-risk female offenders.
