Spectacular video footage shows the son of a Conservative MP fighting in Ukraine, including an attack on a Russian troop carrier and the rescue of a wounded comrade.
Ben Grant is heard shouting “We have to move now or we’ll die!” while he and his band of alien fighters help drag one of his own to a safe place while gunshots ring around him.
The clip, first reported by the Daily Telegraph, shows him and his unit under constant fire as they treat the leg of former Grenadier Guard Dean Arthur with a tourniquet during terrifying scenes on the ground in Ukraine.

More images show the unit carrying out a daring ambush on a Russian troop carrier with a rocket launcher.
Grant, 30, the son of Conservative MP Helen Grant, is a former Royal Marine who arrived in Ukraine during the early days of the war.
In one clip, the band of fighters cheers Mr. Arthur as they move through the woods: “Come on, Deano! Last moment, move on! Good man, you’ve moved fast and well, brother.”
They are believed to have been part of the Ukrainian counter-offensive that pushed Kremlin forces troops out of Kharkiv and, in some places, into the Russian border.
An unknown number of British nationals, both military and civilian, are believed to have traveled to Ukraine to support the country’s armed forces.

Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has previously said she supports people who want to fly to Ukraine to fight for “democracy”, but the Foreign Ministry later said it discouraged all travel to the country. .
Grant told The Telegraph how his 15-member unit, made up of British and American volunteers and two Ukrainian translators, had been preparing for an assault on a Russian-controlled target when they were ambushed.

He said: “I think the drones should have been detected earlier and set up their lines … so as we went, the massive fire broke out where you see (in the video) what we saw.
“We were walking in a single line while the contact took place, Deano was at the end of my team, when he went to his knees … we were shooting, lowering his head and shooting them. I was terrified but he pushed me to complete the most important goal, which at the time was to get him and my team out of danger.

“What was so scary was being so limited trying to carry someone, when I can’t pull the gun up, while there are attack helicopters above and tanks firing through the woods. It was unreal, I’ve never experienced anything like that. my life.”
Arthur was taken to a hospital in Kyiv, where doctors saved his leg.

In another clip, Mr. Grant can be heard saying “go, go” as he and his group of foreign volunteers come out of a forest to surprise the Russian armor.
The image from the helmet’s camera captures the moment one of his comrades fires a rocket at what is believed to be a BTR-80 armored personnel carrier.

Then they quickly retreat, one of them saying “he’s looking at us” and “falling back, stepping back” as they feel shot around him.
Separate images – apparently made by a drone – appear to show the troop carrier being hit by the rocket and fleeing the scene, smoking as he left.
Then there are the explosions secondary to the armored vehicle, possibly the ammunition that explodes as a result of the impact of the rocket.
