Great Western Sydney gunslinger Bobby Hill will take an indefinite break from football after being diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The 22-year-old will be operated on this week and will then be in recovery, with a return to the AFL yet to be determined.
Hill played Saturday in the Giants’ loss to Brisbane.

“Bobby and his family have our full support, as always, as they go through this period,” Giants football coach Jason McCartney said.

“Her health and well – being are our top priority and she will have the best medical care as she undergoes surgery on Tuesday and beyond.
“There will be a period of time for it to recover before an additional medical evaluation to understand if additional steps are needed.
“Bobby is in a good mood and knows he has the support and love of the whole Giants family.”
