The Charles Schwab Challenge 2022 is becoming a memorable one as some of the game’s elites have positioned themselves well ahead of the weekend in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has rejected a disappointing cut in the PGA Championship and seems determined to get back on track after the bogey-free 4-sub 66 and 5-under 65 rounds placed with a part of the leadership. .
“I think I have a lot more confidence than I have in this event in recent years,” Scheffler said. “I’ve made some improvements in my game with my irons and wedges. The first two days here I’ve really seen it bear fruit, which is nice.”
Scheffler is one of the prominent names who will have the floor on how this tournament unfolds, as Jordan Spieth, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Reed and Webb Simpson are within reach. Not only does Spieth want to add to his Charles Schwab Challenge resume, but he’s also trying to amend last year’s tournament when he wasted 54-hole lead.
