Cliff Richard’s health issues: The appearance of Jubilee TV raises concerns about the “fragile and thin” star.

The 81-year-old appeared on Sky News before a performance later today at the Platinum Jubilee pageant. However, the interview caused some real concern among some viewers. Several went to social media worried that Sir Cliff Richard would look fragile and lose weight.

A Twitter user posted, “Is Cliff Richard okay?” after the legendary crooner appeared on the screen while another worried viewer adds, “It looks like a bag of bones.”

Less kindly, @MaddestMa tweeted, “Is it me, or does Cliff Richard look more and more like Joan Bakewell?” Another cruel user asked, “Is Cliff Richard older than the queen?

Several others claimed that appearing on television caused them discomfort after Sir Cliff, born Harry Webb, appeared to have difficulty hearing questions.

He said he was “jealous” of the musicians, who also included Craig David, Hans Zimmer, Mabel, Elbow, Sam Ryder and Diversity, who performed last night.

He said: “I wish I had been invited to sing a note and just be in this production.

“The new generation had to be there. And hopefully they’ll be there to sing for Charles. And then, William.”

Sir Cliff admitted that people like him, Paul McCartney and Tom Jones should start giving up their roles as big stars.
