Elon Musk intervened in the controversial trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, saying, “I hope they both move on. At their best, they’re all amazing.”
The final arguments in the defamation suit between Depp and Heard took place on Friday. The jury will return on Tuesday for deliberations.
The proceedings began on Monday, April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia, following Depp’s lawsuit against his ex-wife in March 2019. Depp argues that he defamed him in a December 2018 opinion piece published in The Washington Post titled “I spoke against.” sexual violence, and faced the wrath of our culture. That must change. “
Musk was initially thought to be a witness to the trial, among other celebrities. But in the end, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX did not take the place.

Musk responded to a tweet from Lex Fridman listing his trial findings.
The Aquaman actor told the court that she and Mr. Depp had planned to go to the Met Gala together as Ralph Lauren’s guests.
However, the event came shortly after her 30th birthday when she claimed she had been “attacked” by her husband.
She claimed she had no phone at the time because Depp had thrown her out the window and therefore could not find out if he would still join her at the event.
“I wasn’t sure what was going on or when it would show up or if it would show up,” he said.
“I had no way of knowing,” he added.
Mrs Heard told the court she walked the red carpet alone and “sat down next to an empty spot for Johnny” after he “effectively lifted me off the carpet”.
It was while walking down the red carpet alone that he said he met Mr. Musk, whom he described as “a gentleman” and said he was in the act with his mother.
“He was queuing right in front of a gentleman. It was Elon,” he said.
“It simply came to our notice then. We started talking and he reminded me that we had met once. “

Ms. Heard and Mr. Musk are believed to have been released between 2016 and 2018 and the head of SpaceX was named to his list of witnesses for the trial.
During the opening statements, Ms. Heard’s attorneys said that Mr. Depp had been “obsessed” with Mr. Musk.
Former spouse agent Christian Carino previously testified at trial that Mrs. Heard was dating Mr. Musk while trying to reconcile with her husband.
