Glamorous tennis girl Emma Raducanu has infuriated her fans by tweeting her support for Nick Kyrgios after she defeated Cristian Garin on Wednesday night to advance to the Wimbledon semifinals.
The 19-year-old Briton simply tweeted “NK” with the emoji of a magic wand after the Australian star beat Garin in straight sets, with a hugely successful matchup against Rafael Nadal waiting for him at the semifinals Friday night.
Many of Raducanu’s Twitter followers, of whom there are more than 656,000, disagreed with his public show of support for Kyrgios given the recent allegations that his ex-girlfriend allegedly assaulted him late last year.
Kyrgios has been summoned to the ACT investigating court on August 2 to address allegations that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, model Chiara Passari, which he brought to the attention of police in December 2021.

Kyrgios has publicly defended himself for Raducanu before, and he said so at the press conference after his victory in the quarter-finals.

Kyrgios attorney Jason Moffett of Key Chambers told The Canberra Times that his client was aware of the indictment, which was “in the context of a domestic relationship.”
“The nature of the charge is serious and Mr Kyrgios takes the charge very seriously,” he added.
