Final of the 2022 French Open, highlights: Rafael Nadal won a record 22 Grand Slam titles on Sunday after beating Casper Ruud in the men’s singles final of the French Open at the Court Philipp-Chatrier . Nadal continued his unbeaten streak in the Roland Garros finals, defeating Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 to secure his 14th French Open title, expanding his record. Nadal also became the oldest player to win the French Open. Despite being broken early in the second set, Nadal responded with two breaks of his own before sealing the second set 6-3. Earlier, Nadal won the first set 6-3 after breaking Ruud’s serve twice. The Norwegian managed to get back to Nadal once, but his poor first-serve percentage made him come out as the second best.
