Kuki Shinobu will be the newest character in the second half of Genshin Impact 2.7 and many travelers are looking forward to his debut. Naturally, they will want to know details such as their release date (June 21, 2022) and all of their Ascension materials. Fortunately, this information is now available for viewing, which will be shown in this article.
There will also be a pre-farming guide below to help new players who really want to get the most out of Kuki Shinobu as soon as possible. All of its materials are currently in play, so you can start cultivating immediately after reading this article.
Kuki Shinobu Release Date in Genshin Impact 2.7

An in-game announcement shows that their talk show will begin on June 21, 2022, suggesting that this is when the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.7 will begin. Yelan’s current banner also ends on June 21, 2022 at 5:59 p.m., so it would make sense if Itto’s banner starts that day.
Itto is also the only 5-star character known to have a banner at the time. Aside from Kuki Shinobu, it is currently not revealed who the remaining 4-star characters are on this banner.
There isn’t much time between then and now, so interested players should check out their Ascension materials and how to cultivate them.
Kuki Shinobu Ascension Materials and pre-cultivation guide

Unfortunately for Kuki Shinobu fans, the ruined snake that drops runic fangs does not drop any of Vajrada’s amethyst items. Therefore, they will have to defeat more bosses compared to some older characters who could cultivate the same boss for various Ascension materials.
Several weekly headlines leave this material:

- Raiden Shogun
Several normal bosses also drop it:
- Coral Defenders
- Electrohypostasis
- First Geovishap
- Manifestation of thunder
Ideally, players will choose the easiest normal head to cultivate (in this case, it would be electrohypostasis). Remember the farm:
- 1 Vajrada amethyst chip
- 9 fragments of Vajrada amethyst
- 9 pieces of Vajrada amethyst
- 6 Vajrada amethyst gemstones

As for the Runic Fang, travelers will have to defeat the Ruin Serpent that debuted in Genshin Impact 2.7. To access it, they must complete the mission, Seven Star Surreptitious Seal. You need 46 runic fangs to reach your maximum level.
Travelers will also have to cultivate 168 Naku Weeds to fully ascend it to Genshin Impact 2.7. They are a local specialty in Inazuma, which can be picked up in all the areas shown on the interactive map above.
Alternatively, they can buy five per 1,000 Mora every three days in Aoi in the city of Inazuma. They can also plant some Naku weed seeds in the Serenitea pot and harvest them two days and 22 hours later.
The final Ascension materials to talk about are the spectral elements. Kuki Shinobu needs the following to upgrade to Genshin Impact 2.7:
- 18 spectral shells
- 30 spectral hearts
- 36 Spectral nuclei
You will need an additional number of them to maximize your talents, which can be seen below:

Elegance rolls are needed to maximize your talents. They are obtained mainly through the Violet Court, but only on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Kuki Shinobu needs the following in Genshin Impact 2.7:

The last element other than Mora that players can cultivate in Genshin Impact 2.7 is the Tears of the God of Calamity. Kuki Shinobu needs 18 of them to maximize all his talents. It is not too easy to cultivate them, considering that they are available through a weekly head.
Travelers must complete the second mission in the history of the Raiden Shogun to unlock the domain where they can cultivate this material to increase the level of talent.
