Concerns are growing for a Stockport teenager who has not been seen since visiting friends over the weekend. Oscar Johnson had gone to lunch with his father Paul Johnson on Saturday (June 4) at lunchtime before going out to see his classmates at Offerton.
Paul says his 16-year-old son told him he wasn’t ready to go home at 10pm on Saturday night, and that Oscar hasn’t been in contact with him since. Romiley’s worried father is now asking anyone who knows where his son is to show up.
“He’s totally out of character,” Paul said Manchester Evening News . “I talked to him on Saturday night and he wasn’t ready to go home, it was around 10pm.

“I said he was fine, I was talking to him around 11pm and then I went to look for him. He’s the last I heard about him. It’s an absolute mystery to us.
“Right now we’re absolutely worried. His phone is off, there are no messages on social media that have been read. We’ve been calling him constantly every few minutes, all day and into the night.”
Paul says his son Oscar, who did an apprenticeship after leaving school, had been in a good mood before the day he disappeared. He says Oscar might think he’s having trouble getting home on Saturday night, but Paul is anxious to hear from his son as soon as possible.
Oscar is 6 feet 2 inches tall, of slender build, and was believed to be wearing gray sweatpants and a black jacket before his disappearance. He usually lives in Offerton with his mother, but at that time had stayed with his father in Romiley.
Paul added: “He may be a bit of a moody teenager, but he’s happy, he’s happy with his job, he likes the guys he works with a lot. next month, I was happy.
“On Saturday night her mother was out of her, I was calming her down. I said maybe she just fell asleep and we’ll pick her up in the morning, she wouldn’t.
