Jeremy Renner is being pampered a little at the hospital.
The actor posted a video on the Instastories portion of his verified Instagram account on Thursday that showed him massaging his scalp while wearing a plastic cap and lying in a hospital bed.
The video was captioned: “ICU spa moment to lift my spirits. Thank you mom. Thank you sister. Thank you all for you. For your love.”
“That was the first shower in a week or so,” Renner can be heard saying through his oxygen mask. “Witches”.
The video was also shared on Renner’s verified Twitter account with a message that read: “A “no no [sic] great” ICU DAY, turned into an amazing spa day with my sister and mom. Thank you so much.”
He continues to recover from two surgeries after being injured by a snowplow on New Year’s Day near his home in Nevada.
The Marvel star was clearing snow from a private driveway to help family members get out of their home after a holiday get-together when the crash happened, his publicist previously told CNN .
According to the 911 call log released by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Renner was “completely crushed” by a snowcat vehicle in the incident.
CNN obtained the 911 call log through a public records request. The identity of the caller was redacted by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The 911 call was made at 8:55 a.m. local time on Sunday.
“Subject was run over by a snowcat,” the log says. Responder is yelling: The responder says the subject is down and the subject has been crushed.
He later identifies the subject as Renner.
“[Renner] loud moaning in the background: severe bleeding,” the 911 operator notes in the call log. “[Renner] he is bleeding profusely from the head and others [unknown] injuries – [responding person] not sure where all the blood is coming from.”
Another note in the log says that Renner was “completely crushed under a large snowcat [vehicle]” and that Renner has “extreme [difficulty] breathing”. He goes on to say that “the right side of his chest is collapsed; his upper torso is crushed.”
About 49 minutes after the first call was made, the log shows Renner was loaded into a transport helicopter to the hospital.
“[Renner] he has all kinds of injuries but currently he is [breathing] i [conscious],” says the record.
Renner shared a selfie from her hospital bed on Tuesday to express her gratitude for the support she’s received.
“Thank you all for your kind words,” Renner wrote. “I’m (sic) too messed up right now to write. But I send you all love.”
