Kid Laroi took a moment on his Australian tour to walk around Sydney over the weekend, leaving two young street musicians delighted.
The Kid Laroi has continued to accumulate viral moments on his Australian tour, giving a couple of young traveling musicians a moment they will never forget over the weekend.
15-year-old rapper “Dylan Billion Dollars” was performing on Saturday with his 11-year-old brother Damien on the well-known Pitt Street, when the superstar suddenly appeared in the crowd.
Images captured by a fan showed the sand-filled rapper flanked by his bodyguards and enjoying local music, before going to congratulate the couple.
“Hi Pitt Street, let me tell you, these two kids are: Can we make some noise for them now?” he told the crowd, who roared in approval.
Dylan later told 2GB host Ben Fordham that at first he had no idea Laroi was watching him and his brother.
“I saw some of his producers looking at me … then I looked away from the crowd because I had to keep up the momentum, and then I looked back and suddenly I saw The Kid Laroi,” he said.
“My brother said, ‘Is that really him?’ I said, “Who looks like a baby?”
“Having someone as big as The Kid Laroi show up in town … showing love … made my day … made me my whole life, really.”
Dylan told Fordham that one of the members of the rapper’s entourage pulled out a block of $ 100 bills and began methodically counting them on the hat the emerging youth had put on for advice.
“One of his bodyguards said,‘ Make sure no one takes the money, because there’s so much he put in, ’” he said, revealing that the tip amounted to $ 1,000.
Dylan, who already has more than 100,000 views on his Spotify account, said he would use the money “to invest in better music settings,” adding that he and Damien would share the money fairly.
Kid Laroi is currently enjoying a round of victories for Australia for his The end of the world arena tour, which will land in Perth tonight, ahead of dates in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The tour has sent Australia into a frenzy over the Stay singing, with Maccas even doing a special combo to mark the event.
