Christian Eriksen has been asked to reject Manchester United and Tottenham this summer.
United and Tottenham could be keen on a transfer for Eriksen, but Danish TV2 editor-in-chief Carsten Werge believes he could easily stay in Brentford.
He told Sky Sports: “We would not be surprised if Christian stayed in Brentford. He has been very good there and looks very happy at this club with a lot of Danish people around him, including coach Thomas Frank, who is very good.
“So I think the feeling around him is that, well, even though the money could be bigger than the other clubs that have been mentioned, I don’t think that’s a matter of money. It’s a matter of where Christian and its the family feel comfortable.
“I imagine it could easily be Brentford.”
