One person is dead and another is in critical condition in hospital after two separate violent incidents in Toronto on Sunday morning, paramedics say.
Emergency crews were first called to a stabbing near Broadway and Roehampton avenues at 2:47 p.m.
Paramedics say they found a person with life-threatening injuries.
They were rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
About an hour later, police and paramedics were called to the Caribbean Love Restaurant and Bar on Eglinton and Oakwood Avenues for a shootout.
Paramedics said they found a person with life-threatening injuries.
Police say a 50-year-old man later died at the hospital.
Police told CP24 several shots were fired inside the restaurant.
They are reviewing images from surveillance cameras at restaurant exits.
