An incredible score is being developed over Philippe Chatrier as Alexander Zverev is 6-2, 4-0 ahead of Sebastian Baez. The Argentine is a skilled clay court player and the 21-year-old recently won his first tournament in Estoril, but Zverev, who could reach number 1 in the world this week, would not have been expected to be in a hole like that. early.

Sasnovich 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 Raducanu
The number of Sasnovich winners was quite incredible: 45 to 17 for Raducanu in all three sets. He really came to life as he intensified his aggression in the second set and the right cross was the source of multiple points throughout the match.
The third set of 6-1 is a bit skewed, though. He certainly didn’t feel as one-sided as the second set and Raducanu had a great chance to break Sasnovich 1-1, passing five break points in an epic 12-minute game.
Sasnovich had looked a little uncomfortable and the momentum would have changed if Raducanu had gone ahead. Instead, Sasnovich broke in the next game and closed it from there.
