MRI angiography nanoprobes for the study of microvessels and vascular disorders
Scientists have recently developed a nanoprobe that uses ultra-tiny NaGdF4 nanoparticles coated with a red blood cell membrane. The nanoprobe showed improved longitudinal molar relaxivity compared to gadolinium used in gadolinium diethylenetriaminopentaacetic acid.
