Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions Manchester City have sent a message to Nottingham Forest after regaining promotion to the top tier of English football.
The Reds ended their long Premier League exile by beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the league play-off final at Wembley on Sunday.
Defender Steve Cook joked about players planning to go “full Jack Grealish” in their promotion celebrations, after the £ 100 million Man City man enjoyed the celebrations of the Premier League title.
And as Steve Cooper and his players return to Nottingham today for their own promotional celebration in the city, Man City posted a message to them, as well as the Fulham and Bournemouth promoted teams, on Twitter.
“Congratulations to @FulhamFC, @afcbournemouth and @NFFC on their promotion to the @premierleague! See you next season!” they said.
