Police in riot gear storm a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

A group of protesters were dragged out of the mall by police after running in front of a parade as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations began.

The five men, some with plastic crowns, were seen jumping off the barriers of the mall leading to Buckingham Palace at 10.10am on Thursday.

Some of them lay on the ground in front of a troop of soldiers marching through the mall before Trooping the Color for the Jubilee.

Police officers quickly grabbed the men and dragged them to the side of the road.

The protest came moments before members of the royal family were driven through the mall.

The Animal Rebellion protest group claimed responsibility for the attack and said it was “demanding that Royal Land be restored”.
