Liverpool-Real Madrid: images of the Champions League final
Sadio Mané has “told his Liverpool team-mates that he will leave” the club this summer after losing in the Champions League final to Real Madrid.
Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the match, two minutes before the hour, to seal the 14th Champions League title of the Spanish giant and make an incredible season for the Reds end in disappointment. It came less than a week after Jurgen Klopp’s side narrowly lost their Premier League title to Manchester City.
The Reds will now suffer another setback with the news that Senegalese striker Mane will leave Anfield after six seasons at the club. The 30-year-old solid is likely to be in high demand after a world-class period at Merseyside, where he scored 120 goals for the club.

Reds striker Mané has insisted he will not make any announcements about his future until after the Champions League final and now it is believed a public announcement is imminent.
Several reports, led by Diario AS, highlight how Mané informed his Liverpool teammates of his intention to leave the club this summer in the dressing room of the Stade de France following the defeat of the Champions League final.

The former Chelsea striker made an exceptional save from Mané in the first half, putting his fingertips in a powerful effort that seemed destined for the bottom of the net and tipped it to the post.
