Samsung Galaxy S22 is the only phone in the world that supports Vo5G networks. Here are all the details.
Samsung Galaxy S22 holds another world record right now! The entire Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra are now the only smartphones in the world that support Vo5G technology. Yes, the Galaxy S22 series now supports Voice Over 5G technology which claims to increase the quality of calls to supported areas. Vo5G technology is essentially a successor to the VoLTE feature that most 4G smartphones feature as standard these days.
Vo5G technology has been launched in Kuwait, as Zaid Kuwait, a network operator in the country, has launched the feature for compatible devices. Only the Galaxy S22 series is compatible with Vo5G technology, which allows users to take advantage of this new technology. Similar to VoLTE, this feature is expected to improve call quality when connected to a 5G network.

The Galaxy S22 can now host Vo5G calls
Surprisingly, despite a barrage of 5G smartphones in various markets, only the Samsung Galaxy S22 series supports this feature. Not even the iPhone 13 series supports this feature yet.
What can Vo5G offer customers? Simply put, it will do exactly the same thing that VoLTE did a couple of years ago: improve call quality. With Vo5G, telecommunications companies will be able to offer customers ultra HD voice quality in voice calls. This should help with the calling experience.
While Samsung is the only one that supports this feature, we could see more phones with this feature in the coming months. Similar to VoLTE support, most manufacturers will be able to implement it with a software update. Since India has not yet seen any 5G network, we could have the function in a few years.
The Galaxy S22 series is also making some headlines lately in other areas. These phones have now surpassed Google’s Pixel devices for the latest security patch in June. In addition, the Galaxy S22 series has also proven to be extremely popular in the Indian market, with the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra leading sales.
Things could be changing over the next few months as both Samsung and Apple have new products in the premium smartphone space to play with. Samsung will start the launch season in August with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices. Apple will follow it with its iPhone 14 series devices, which are rumored to include the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Max, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
