Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have just released the latest trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Most importantly, we have a release date. The game will be released on November 18 for Nintendo Switch. You can buy the two versions separately or a double package.
There’s a lot to catch and we’re still digesting it ourselves, but let’s take a look at the open world, the different terrains, the coaching battles that take place within the open world, and a look at the legendary Pokémon called Koraidon and Miraidon which appear to be a sort of lizard / dragon hybrid. We also took a look at the new Pokémon, including Pawmi, Leochonk and Smoliv.
The game will allow online multiplayer for up to four players at a time. You will be able to explore the world, which is a great new addition to other online players, and of course you can also exchange and fight with online players.
Another novelty is the fact that you will get a different teacher depending on the version you have. Scarlet will wear Professor Sada while Violet will wear Professor Turo. Each teacher will pass on different knowledge of the area. There is also a new friend in Nemona who will guide you along the way.
You can’t book the game yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as both versions and the double pack are available for booking in the morning.
