The 23-year-old told the Liverpool Echo that his Liverpool FC high school wife was “the most generous person you could ever meet”. He said: “No one could ever say a bad word about her and she would back down from anyone, friends, family or strangers. It’s hard.
“She helped me with everything. I suffer from anxiety and things like that and literally anything, she would do anything for me. All my friends and family took her with me right away. Everyone loved her. without her, everyone would wonder how she was. “

Ifan, who lived with Piata at his home in Swansea, has said he believes the love of his life could have been saved if he had found her earlier. He also stated that the tanning salon staff should have checked it.
The store operator said: “He had something like a cardiac arrest in the tanning salon, Lextan. He came in at 1:50 for an 11-minute session. He didn’t answer his phone, so that my mother and I stayed at work to see if everything was okay.
“We found her lying in a dead room. The staff members hadn’t checked her. She must have had a funny turn and she died. From what I’ve been told, the longest time you can be there is 20 minutes, but she only was booked for 11 minutes.
“They usually come to check on you five minutes after the session so they can clean the next client’s bed. They didn’t even check if she was there or not. It was my mom who found her.
“I asked her to look because the staff took her to an empty room and there was no telephone. Then when my mother left, they noticed that she was in another room and the door was closed. My mother looked under the door and He saw her feet. Then they went to look for the key and when we finally entered, she was dead. “
Ifan has now started a GoFundMe to raise money so that Piata’s body can be transported to New Zealand for a traditional burial in his home country. He said: “We want her back in New Zealand to be with her friends and family and have a traditional funeral.
“I also want to go there and be with her to finally see her rest. There will be a ceremony here with my friends and family showing their respects, but then we will take her to New Zealand to do it right.”
A Lextan spokesman told the Liverpool Echo: “Unfortunately, we can confirm that a customer died while in our Fforestfach lounge on Saturday 28 May. We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and have also offered advice to “We are cooperating with the investigation into this case by the South Wales Police and more investigations are needed at this time.”
