Two men have died in an accident on the A11 near Mildenhall.
Police were called at 12:10 a.m. Monday, May 30, to report a three-vehicle collision on the southbound road between Elveden and Barton Mills.
A white Maxus flatbed vehicle was involved in a collision with a red Range Rover Sport and a Scania truck.
Suffolk ambulance and fire and rescue crews also attended, but the driver and passenger of the Maxus died at the scene.
The A11 has closed in both directions, with the reopening of the road in a northerly direction around 6 pm.
The south side remains closed with deviations in place.
Officers call no witnesses and ask anyone driving in the area with a dashboard camera installed in their vehicle to check the images for anything that might be helpful.
